ABOUT US:
We are two socially-minded guys in our thirties. Our interests include cooking, music, weird movies, grilling, biking, travel, art, video games, and outdoor activities (camping, etc.). We love living in Davis & Somerville and experiencing the culture and opportunities that the local scene has to offer.
We enjoy returning to a home with people who we enjoy spending time with, and that we can share activities and experiences with. We do like our down time and respect others’, but we are looking for somebody who’d rather not be a stranger, i.e. somebody to have a beer with after a long day of work. It's more of a home than a house.
ABOUT YOU: What we're looking for in a roommate:
- respectful of the house and roommates, open to new experiences, and likes to keep common space clean like us!
- values community and diversity
- outgoing, can make us laugh / will join us in creating weird inside jokes
- any gender, race, sexual orientation is welcome; we have enjoyed living with a mix of folks in the past
- looking for a working professional in their late 20s early 30s
- supportive of friends coming from out of town to crash on the couch / air mattress for a weekend occasionally
- non-cigarette smoker
- has interests, passions, and hobbies (what gets you excited?)
Additional notes:
- you’re welcome to move in as early as June 1 and sublet the last two months under the existing lease
- unfortunately, no pets are allowed
- existing furniture in the room is negotiable
- no broker’s fee, standard background check
