I am moving out of my bedroom of 8 years for a new job. This has been a fantastic apartment and I am sad to leave.
This is an ideal spot for graduate students especially, close to multiple universities and only a 5 minute walk to the Red Line subway station. It's a 2 minute walk to a Star Market grocery store and a 5 minute walk to the main Mass Ave. strip of shops.
The room is on the top floor of a cozy 4-bedroom house. It features a skylight and large window with a spot for AC. A decent sized closet. Cozy slanted ceilings. This is the largest room in the house.
The price is 1300 per month with first month and a $1300 security deposit required at lease sign (2600 total sign on cost - no last months rent required). Utilities are extra per month which average to $100 (only like 50 during summer months). Internet is blazing fast for gamerz and tech lovers.
8-Month lease until August 31st, with option to stay afterwards on the next lease. You can always break the lease so long as you find a replacement for the room.
Free street parking!
In-house washer and dryer
2 bathrooms, including one beside this room on the top floor (one shower on bottom floor).
Large kitchen with all amenities, big island, high ceilings.
Your roomies would be an MIT graduate student, and two young working professionals in their mid-late 20s. Two men and one woman. The house is LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly, but no smoking indoors.
We are very clean and the house has cleaners come thru once per month. No annoying chore duties or house meetings -- just be an adult and clean your dishes and empty the trash when it's full -- simple stuff. One roomie has a lot of 'stuff' but it's otherwise very clean. It has a cozy lived-in vibe. The room being on the top floor is a nice oasis from the rest of the home.
January 1st start is ideal, but mid-January or February 1 can be arranged. If you'd like a short sub-lease that could be arranged.
