Spacious Bedroom Available June 1st

The Room...
is fairly large and with hardwood floors, high ceilings. A built-in corner cabinet w/sheves provides some extra storage and aesthetic appeal. 2 large windows let in lots of natural morning/afternoon sunlight.

The apartment...
Is in a Brownstone building on Beacon St. in Washington Sq., it is on the second floor. It's a 2 bedroom apartment-- the eat-in kitchen is spacious with a good amount of cabinets and counter space, a living room, 1 bathroom, and a porch. There is laundry, coin-op, at the building (there is a laundromat a few doors down at the corner too).

The location....
VERY convenient, the green(C)line is less than a minute walk, the D-line is about an 8 minute walk, Shaw/Star Market is on the next block, great restaurants and cafes are steps away -- Barcelona, The Abbey, Publick House, Cafe Nero, Athans, etc. It's also a 2 or 3 minute walk to bus route 65 on Washington St./near Athans bakery with drop off at Longwood Medical for researchers and medical people or Harvard medical grad student that go to school or work in that area.

Looking for a responsible male roommate, a white collar professional or graduate student or a tradesman/worker in a skilled craft. No undergrads please.

The housemate...
Outgoing guy, a mail carrier that takes work very seriously, smoker (420 friendly) but outdoors or on the porch only/no smoking policy in the building.

Other general info to know...
If you have a car you will have to rent a parking spot nearby because the building does not have parking (spots are around $200-$250/month) and the town of Brookline does not allow overnight street parking.
Great area for young professionals to live. There is a great park a couple blocks away with lots of green space, tennis courts and basket ball hoops. No pets please.
