I'm looking for a responsible, low-key roommate to share a beautiful and very spacious two-floor apartment situated between Brighton Center and Oak Square starting 1/1/26. Rent is $1200/month plus a share of utilities (gas, electric, internet—typically $65–$110).
The apartment occupies the second and third floors of a two-family home and includes:

The available room is on the third floor and comes with its own additional studio/office space and a full bathroom—so you’d essentially have a whole floor to yourself.
Street parking is plentiful. The landlord is great and very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet, residential, and walkable, with easy access to transit: about 15 minutes to Boston Landing, 5–10 minutes to the 57 bus, and close to parks, restaurants, and everything around Brighton Center and Oak Square.

I’m in my early 30s and work as a teacher just outside the city. I’ve lived here for 5 years and love it. I work full-time and am currently earning my MEd in Special Education. I keep things low-key during the week, stay busy with friends on weekends, and enjoy a cozy, peaceful, clean home. I also have a sweet, affectionate cat who loves company but is also independent.
I’m hoping to find someone who is chill, considerate, clean, and has a full life of their own but is also a friendly presence around the house.
