Two working professionals (women, mid-30s) seeking a third roommate for our two-floor, three-bedroom apartment in Oak Square, Brighton. We are looking for someone of similar age and stage of life (thirties preferred; no undergrads or recent grads). We have two cats, Ziggy and Lentil, but unfortunately, no other pets are allowed.

The available bedroom is an ample-sized room that can accommodate up to a king-sized bed if desired, includes 2 windows and a walk-in closet for storage.

The house is only a few blocks from the Charles River, includes a large backyard, front and back porches, 2 full bathrooms, a washer/dryer in the unit, a large kitchen (with dishwasher and gas stove), basement storage, outdoor shed storage, and is pretty clean and spacious overall. The shared living spaces are fully furnished. There is a shared parking spot available for the apartment, plenty of open-street parking (no permit required), and has easy access to buses (57, 64, 65, 86, 501, 503) as well as multiple all-season Blue Bike docking stations. Utilities not included (run about $75-$130 per person depending on the season).

We are looking for someone to sublet for the summer (July - Aug 2024) and sign the new lease for the upcoming rental year (Sept 2024 - Aug 2025). The rent is set to increase to $1150 for the new leasing period.

A little bit about the two of us: we are a friendly, easy-going household. We consider each other friends and often chat while cooking meals in the kitchen or watch TV together in the evenings, but we also have our own separate interests, friends, and schedules. We enjoy live music, hiking, most Bravo franchises, and hanging out around our fire pit in the backyard. We typically host a house Friendsgiving and always get a live tree at Christmas. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful of others from different backgrounds.

If you are interested in touring the apartment, please reach out and introduce yourself with a brief bio!
