We are a well-established, local dry cleaner located right here in Brookline, MA, and we are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Counter Associate to join us exclusively for our Saturday shift.
If you are a college student looking for an easy commute on the Green Line, or someone with a weekday 9-to-5 looking for a steady, predictable weekend income boost, this is the perfect position for you. You don't need prior dry cleaning experience—we will fully train you—but you must be dependable, punctual, and great with customers.
Shift Schedule:
Saturdays only: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Consistent weekly hours)
What You’ll Do:
Customer Service: Greet neighbors with a smile, drop off fresh garments, and accept new incoming orders.
Order Intake: Inspect clothing garments, note any special care instructions or stains, and input them into our simple computer system.
Point of Sale: Handle cash and card transactions quickly and accurately.
Organization: Tag garments correctly and organize completed orders on the racks so they are ready for pickup.
What We’re Looking For:
Reliability is #1: Because this is a single-day shift, we need someone who will consistently show up on time every week.
Great Attitude: You are the face of our business. A polite, professional, and friendly demeanor is required.
Detail-Oriented: Clean clothes are important to our customers! Accurately typing in orders and tagging clothes properly keeps our shop running smoothly.
Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable using a simple touchscreen point-of-sale system (similar to using an iPad).
