I have my Bachelor of the Arts degree in English from Tufts University and eight years' experience working as an Administrative Assistant.
I am actively seeking a part-time weekday/weekend position as an Administrative Assistant or Office Associate in the Boston or Cambridge areas.
Success at my job means that I am mature and self-confident. As an agreeable team player, I thrive in environments where I have to effectively prioritize. Often I have had to manage multiple projects and determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way. Advanced inter-personal and collaboration skills were essential for my roles due to the interaction with senior executives and other staff across all levels of the organizations.
SOFTWARE/ APPLICATIONS: I have a strong software proficiency covering: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Kronos and PeopleSoft. I have experience with graphic design through using MSWord and several of my editorial projects were published on two nationally recognized websites.
AVAILABILITY: I am available to work 10-12 hours during the week or on weekends.

Most recently I worked full-time at a Boston Area nonprofit as an Executive Assistant. In this positon, I provided efficient administrative support to the President and Executive Director of Administration.
I oversaw projects such as grant drafting, PowerPoint drafting and research. There were internal events and functions that I managed such as the monthly Executive Board meeting. This included scheduling meeting times, reserving conference rooms, setting up calls and arranging for visitors and catering. My responsibilities also included creating and processing trip/expense reports and following up with Accounts Payable on any delinquent expense and/or travel claims.
In this role, my project assignments varied in nature and scope and had short timelines. The office was a fast-paced environment and I was required to function independently, with a great deal of initiative to proactively identify and address the needs of my managers. I had the ability to thrive in a demanding, diversified and active atmosphere while remaining composed and professional. Successful completion of my assignments, required that I multi-task and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
