We are seeking a full-time receptionist to handle the phones and help keep the front of the house running smoothly. Ideal candidates have the following skills:
-Handling multiple ringing phone lines
-Staying calm and friendly even when it's busy
-Creating and maintaining a neat and organized workspace
-An eye for detail and efficiency
-A knack for communicating well on the phone, via email, and in person
-A friendly personality
-A sense of humor!
Experience in a veterinary hospital is a big bonus but is NOT necessary. We are looking for front-desk/customer service/admin experience and a top-notch personality above all else. A sense of humor is a huge plus; we like our jobs and each other, so we are hoping to add another positive person to our awesome team. We have fun at work and need someone who loves what they do, so they can do it with love and laughter!
Huron Veterinary Hospital is a busy, two-vet, neighborhood practice right outside of Inman Square in Cambridge. We have a small but tightly knit team of vets, techs, and receptionists that work hard all day - but are frequently laughing and squeezing kittens, too.
Occasional half-day Saturdays may be required, so please do not respond to this ad if you are not able to work that shift.
