We have a full-time opportunity for a motivated and self-directed individual to join our leasing team. As the leasing consultant, your number one priority should be providing excellent customer service. This role requires high energy, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The position entails administrative duties, customer service, sales, and marketing to lease our apartment homes. The ideal candidate will be eager to exceed expectations in all areas of the leasing consultant role.

Leasing Consultant Responsibilities:

1. Leasing
Manage our daily tour route. The leasing consultant must demonstrate local market, community, and apartment/model knowledge to clients by communicating features and benefits.

Proactively manage sales, outreach, and lead generation. Manage daily craigslist postings, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and update unit availability as needed. Monitor and record advertising effectiveness, gather information about market competition and compose into detailed reports.

Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and organization of resident events and activities.

Process applications and efficiently complete all necessary paperwork. Assist in monitoring lease renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices

2. Administrative

Maintain past, current, and prospective resident files ensuring all necessary paperwork is organized and accurate.

Schedule maintenance service orders with residents and coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely and satisfactory repairs. Complete follow-up with residents and compose weekly repair satisfaction report

Maintain accurate monthly commission records on leases and renewals for bonus purposes

Assist management team with other various tasks as needed

Our ideal leasing consultant will be a motivated individual with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting. They will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, superior customer service abilities and great organizational skills. Enthusiastically take on new projects and responsibilities. Prior experience in customer service is required; leasing and/or sales experience preferred. Reliable transportation is required.

Education: A high school education or equivalent is required. A college degree or related course work in business or marketing is preferred.

Other considerations:
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of social media marketing preferred
