Job Overview:

Operate the Opex 150 IEM for mail opening and Image/Data Capture.


  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on the Opex 150 IEM.
  • Initiate maintenance and service calls with Coordinator / Supervisor.
  • Open, sort, and balance remittances according to bank and customer procedures and deadlines.
  • Review image quality throughout the processing shift.
  • Communicate workflow and deadline status throughout the shift with Mail and OCR Coordinators/Supervisors.
  • Batch work according to internal and customer procedures.
  • Review un-processable returns for quality - identify reason for returning to customer and wrap in Unprocessable Return Item Notification form.
  • Participate in training / cross training of new and existing personnel.
  • Monitor and/or ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering, in addition to, Bank operation policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


High School or equivalence required. Excellent manual dexterity, Windows based PC skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, basic adding machine skills, and ability to meet processing standards are required. Requires lifting up to 15 pounds and the ability to stand for extended periods.
