Clinical Director - AS Residential - Women's Residence - New Day
Clinical Director - AS Residential - Women's Residence - New Day (Women's Residence - New Day, Somerville)
Schedule: Monday Through Friday
Plan, organize and carry out general clinical management duties on the unit.
Orient, instruct and supervise clinical staff.
Perform duties of direct clinical staff as required.
Review and interpret work performance of clinical staff against accepted standards and job descriptions.
Review and evaluate patients' clinical records including treatment plans, counseling and case management progress notes, psychosocial assessments and signed consent forms.
Assure that patients have a clean, comfortable and safe environment.
Evaluate and assess social, psychological and motivational needs of the patient.
Make independent decisions regarding counseling and case management practice.
Evaluate emergencies to determine emergency measures necessary, keep program director notified and complete incident reports.
Master's Mental Health Substance Abuse or Social Work with licensing in MA.
Two years supervisory experience in direct clinical supervision of staff.
Certificate in substance abuse treatment preferred.
Two years experience in substance abuse or mental health setting.
Thorough knowledge of dual diagnosis and treatment resources available in the substance abuse and mental health fields.
Demonstrated documentation and communication skills.
Driving License Required? Yes
