Director of Housing - MH / DD Housing

Requisition #7112 Director of Housing - MH / DD Housing (MH / DD Housing, Boston) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: TBD


Job Summary:

Oversight of a multifaceted department that works with Bay Cove Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities staff members and clients.This position works closely with the state Departments of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, state, local, and regional housing agencies, as well as property owners and managers to provide safe, affordable housing for Bay Cove clients. There is a strong focus on maintaining compliance with eligibility criteria for various programs, ongoing data collection, progress reporting and lease management.This position works to resolve tenancy issues and foster positive landlord relationships.The successful applicant will assess the Housing Department's current scope of responsibilities, available resources and practices and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and effectively execute change management principles and processes in conjunction with other senior leaders.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in senior management roles, conducting business process analyses and engaging in improvement processes.
  • Knowledge of housing systems and regulations, funding streams, housing agencies, and subsidy management.
  • Computer skills in word processing, Excel, housing related software, and Internet.
  • Experience in specialized, subsidized, or real estate housing.
  • Professional writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills.
  • Driving License Required? Yes
