Twenty+-year-old Boston-based original socio-political mixed-genre band Lucretia's Daggers (female vox, electric bass, metal guitar, drum & synth backing tracks) seeks experienced, creative and mature (40 + preferred) "dark lyrical electro-rock" GUITARIST to add to its lineup.

Lucretia's Daggers: original (and some covers) “socio-political, mixed-genre, dark lyrical electro-rock...for the apocalypse!” snarky metal, rock, goth, synth, pop, punk, blues, etc. mix – consists of fun, energetic, committed Gen X musicians (singer & bassist) looking for a guitarist. Practice space in Watertown is free and currently on Sundays 6-9pm. We play clubs in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area and looking beyond. We participate in radio interviews, have merch, and both live and professional music videos:

Here's what we're looking for in a bandmate:
1. Versatile guitarist with proficiency and ability to collaborate and improvise in composing new songs
2. have or will get your own guitar, amps, pedals, chords, etc.
3. have own transportation
4. have prior experience working with musicians/are a team player/able to collaborate & compromise (not looking to take over the band/kick anyone out!)
5. have performed or want to perform on stage
6. are able and willing to perform live multiple times a year in Boston area, New England, someday NYC
7. can meet 1x/week for practice (currently Sundays at a FREE space in Watertown MA)
8. wish to record/photograph/make videos with the band
9. can look & dress the part (arty/dark rocker/gothic/apocalyptic/futuristic)
10. aren't in another band/have too many family/child/personal commitments/are actually available to play out, and
11. like our music!

* believes in science & is Covid safe (stay vaxxed!)
* sick of being screwed by the system
* love female-fronted rock & willing to add backup and/or main vocals (alto range at least)
* able to collaborate and compromise for the best of the whole
* several years of experience playing out live
* interested in recording, being photographed, and in music videos with the band
* not looking for money (that's what day jobs are for; if we get paid, everybody gets a cut)
* have creative flair
* reliable/available
* Bonus: skilled in and capable of creating drum/backing tracks
