Hey! My band runs a music practice space in Somerville, near Highland Kitchen. We've got room for some musicians to join us starting in March.

Basically, you pay a monthly fee and get flexible access to the practice space (including a mini kitchen, bathroom, and hangout spot) and to shared music equipment (amps, drum kit, PA, mixer, piano etc.) About a dozen musicians and visual artists share the common spaces, so there's a cozy and collaborative feel. We make up one floor of the larger studio Central St. Studios, which is a really nice community as well.

we're especially interested in bands/musicians that are underrepresented in the music scene right now — women + NB people, queer people, younger people, older people, etc. If that's you, definitely reach out! When we started our band, we could not find a practice space with the right vibe for us, which is why we created our own; we're looking for people in similar situations.
