The Roland Rhythm Composer TR-626 is one of the earliest affordable, fully-digital drum machines using PCM acoustic samples. The TR-626 has the following features:
30 PCM Drum Voices for traditional and latin percussion, tambourine, hand clap, and more
8 Drum Groups can be output from 8 Multi Out Jacks or Stereo Jacks
Independent Pitch and Volume for each Drum Voice
Large LCD display window for easy operation
Programs 6 tracks (to a max of 999 bars) with 96 rhythm patterns (48 preset and 48 user-programmed)
Variable tempo (40 - 240 BPM)
Flam and Shuffle effects
Internal memory or Optional memory cards
Tape interface function for recording
MIDI functionality
Takes 6 AA batteries or optional AC adapter. Weighs less than 3 pounds with batteries.
