Based at The Zonk, originally produced during the late 60’s as a more consistent alternative to the Mk1 Zonk.
A textured fuzz with octave overtones.
Featuring the characteristic crumbly gated tones Zonk players expect.
This is a hybrid version, the best of both worlds, a silicon NOS Fairchild transistor and a Germanium NOS MP38 transistor.
Roll off the guitar volume and you can get a decently clean signal.
SWELL: Volume.
FUZZ - This control acts a little like a fuzz and a little like a bias and give a wide range of really usable settings .
TEXTURE: This is a pot to control the texture of the fuzz, it adds even more graininess - this reduces sustain and the note crackle, especially effecting the decay adding a much more 'crumbly' nature.
With the Luxury Tone Fx Zonk, simply add it to your pedalboard and bathe in glorious, sizzling Zonky fuzz!
Built using exotic components... Ex Urrs NOS PIO (Paper in Oil) capacitors, metal & carbon resistor, amphenol jacks and Alpha/Tayda pots.
Constructing the entire circuit ‘Point to Point’ only using the components, there's no boards or circuit traces to dilute your signal purity.
Led on/off gem type, Hat type baquelite Knobs, truebypass, 9V DC power supply negative center (not incl.) or battery inside.
