Absolutely kills me to let go of this perfect guitar, but times are tough. Get your Thin Lizzy on with Scott Gorham tone for days. The best playing guitar I’ve ever owned. 1979 Norlin era Les Paul Deluxe. Two piece body, not a pancake. 3 piece top, very well matched. Some Bird’s Eye figuring. It’s a cross between a tobacco and cherry sunburst. Sort of a dark burst or iced tea burst. These finishes are somewhat rare and sought after. Original frets are in great condition and have plenty of life. Looks to have had a fret dressing recently, but they are still very high for a vintage guitar. Dark, smooth rosewood fingerboard. It plays like butter, and as good as any custom shop or historic I’ve owned played. Just over 10 lbs. No breaks or repairs. There is finish checking by the volute, but it is not a break. Knobs are repro reflectors, original amber knobs included with the original case. Open to partial offers for a humbucker or Gibson style guitar in the $1k range, but I need a huge chunk of cash. Humbucker or P90. Juniors, specials, SGs, Flying Vs, explorers or Les Paul’s. Maybe a Yamaha SG, Ibanez AR, or a Japanese lawsuit copy like Burny or Greco. Rickenbackers also welcome. Might spring for a fender tele deluxe or thin line tele with wide range humbuckers, but no fenders or single coils otherwise. I have that covered. Would take a pedal or two if you’re just shy of the cash. Make me an offer!
