The DanMo is a traditional Vietnamese percussion instrument that has been used for centuries in Vietnamese Pagoda ceremonies.
It is hand carved from the highly resonant Jack Fruit tree and its unique sound and precise tuning make it a favorite of percussionists worldwide.
It consists of a wooden stand with five carved temple blocks and four carved tone blocks with scrapers.
It includes double ended sticks and stands approximately 32" tall and 13" wide.
The instrument breaks down and folds in half and each temple block is removable for transport.
