The MKB-1000 is a fairly rare wooden piano weight MIDI controller from 1984. Multiple MIDI outputs and inputs, multiple pedal inputs. It all works fine for controlling synthesizers and your DAW software synths. Exterior is well worn, interior is spotless.
A power cable is included. The stand in the picture is *not* included.
The top & bottom are 3/4" plywood, the sides are solid wood. Metal framing surrounds the structure. Inside there are real, long, wooden piano-like keys that create the weighted hammer action. This is the same action that was inside the famous RD-1000 digital piano used by Elton John and others at the time.
Dimensions: about 58" long, 23" deep, 6" high
Important: this keyboard weighs about 110 pounds. Two people are needed to move it effectively.
I am willing to deliver this within the Boston metro area for a nominal fee.
