This guitar is in superb condition., free of any scratches or blems. It sounds fantastic. I set this up for optimal playability with new .10 gage strings. The action is nice and low. The neck is straight. All electronics work perfectly. This has the original , high output factory pickups. The sunburst top is beautiful. Bolt on neck. Great sustain. This has a zero fret design. Stays in tune.
There is not a lot of info out there about these guitars.... but I did find out that Kent made their KE LP copy during the late 70's and early 80's in Japan. This guitar is similar to a Gibson Les Paul in design, and would be considered a lawsuit era guitar. If you google "Lawsuit guitar" you can read many raves about these guitars. They are very collectable, and many feel like they were built better than the Gibson guitars from the same era. These sound much better than the Chinese Chibson Les Pauls that are all over the place. Better tone wood and craftsmanship. No case is included.
