I recently graduated from MIT studying physics and biology. Over the years, I have taken many chemistry and math courses as well. Teaching and mentoring have always been a large part of my responsibilities. I have experience tutoring my classmates, working as a teaching assistant, mentoring MIT Freshmen, advising high school students on extracurriculars, and helping students with college applications/essays. For standardized testing, I have personally taken the general SAT, SAT subject tests in math and chemistry, and the new MCAT (98th percentile overall with 99th percentile in science sections plus first-hand experience improving on CARS). Moreover, I was home-schooled before attending MIT and specialize in helping home-school parents/students with curriculum, extracurriculars, and college applications. At this time, all sessions are conducted online; I use Google hangouts, regular phone calls, Google docs, and email. Depending on your goals, there are two popular options: pay-by-the-session and all-inclusive packages.

1) Pay-by-the-hour at $50.00 per hour. If you purchase a bundle of 10 hours, there is a ten percent discount. I do not count my preparation time, but I do count time providing feedback on your work (for example, essay editing or reading through class assignments).

2a) College admissions gold package. Ten (10) 60 min calls, five (5) personal statement edits, five (5) school-specific essay edits, three (3) practice interviews with feedback, and two (2) reviews of extracurricular activities. Includes school list strategy. $900 in total.
2b) College admissions silver package. Six (6) 60 min calls, three (3) personal statement edits, three (3) school-specific essay edits, two (2) practice interviews with feedback, and one (1) review of extracurricular activities. Includes school list strategy. $600 in total.
2c) College admissions bronze package. Four (4) 60 min calls, two (2) personal statement edits, two (2) school-specific essay edits, one (1) practice interview with feedback, and one (1) review of extracurricular activities. Includes school list strategy. $350 in total.
2d) College pre-application package. Eight (8) 60 min calls discussing course selection, studying techniques, extracurricular involvement, summer activities, standardized tests, and any other questions you have for me. $350 in total.
2e) Standardized test package. Ten (10) 60 min calls, including personalized study plan, test review feedback, personalized help in specific weakness areas, test-day strategy, and managing anxiety. I will help you stay on track and know what you need to do to be prepared. $500.
2f) Homeschool package. This is a flexible package depending on your needs. I am more than happy to work with parents or with students directly. Contact me for more information, pricing varies.
