We are looking for outgoing and money-hungry individuals to join our crew of petitioners at Powers-Brogan Technologies and help collect petition signatures for 3 different candidates currently running for office in Massachusetts. This opportunity is flexible, and you can work when and where you want to.
You will have three clipboards of petition sheets, one for each candidate, on a single table that you'll set up outside of any Market Basket in MA. One person can sign all three as long as they are registered to vote.
You will be compensated in the form of $3.00 per signature, with the opportunity to get up to 3 different signatures from each person you interact with. Generally, each person will sign all three of the petitions because of their support for the cause. At the start, you will easily be able to stop at least 5 eligible and willing people per hour, and if each eligible person signs an average of 2 out of your 3 petitions, you earn around $30 per hour. However the more that you petition, the easier you'll find it to cold-approach people, get people to sign all of your petitions, and increase your hourly pay. Most petitioners easily stop 10 or more eligible people per hour, meaning you earn $70 per hour if 10 people sign an average of 2 out of your 3 petitions.
You can do this part-time or full-time. We need people who are available to start as soon as possible. You must have reliable transportation to travel to both the initial training and to turn in your signatures once per week in Tewksbury, MA. Some training is required, and you must be a neat, detail-oriented individual. Training is paid only after your first week of petitioning, and it will take two hours to complete.
You must be someone outgoing who is willing to cold approach strangers, asking them if they can sign your petitions, and you need thick skin to be able to handle this gig. People will disagree with you, ignore you, yell at you, and call you names.
This work is not easy, and self-motivation is crucial for success with this. If you are interested in this gig, please reply to this post with your name, email, and phone number.
