We're physically based in Tewksbury, MA, but you can perform this job anywhere in MA. As a petitioner, you'll be standing outside of your local grocery store asking MA residents to sign your petition to place a political candidate on the ballot. If you're doing the job correctly, you can expect to collect signatures at a consistent rate. Most of our staff on this project are currently earning north of $50/hr, as this project is paying $3.50 per signature. We expect this project to last for another five weeks, ending 3/20.
It's completely up to you to fully decide when, where, and how long you want to work for. You can petition wherever and whenever you want to, although we recommend sticking to Market Basket locations. Every Thursday, you'll simply come to our office in Tewksbury, MA to cash in your petition sheets. When you arrive, we'll just need 30-40 minutes to count your signatures and confirm their authenticity. Once we finish our verification procedures, we'll cut you a check for the full amount up front.
