I am seeking an experienced carpenter for a commercial interior modification project near Boston.
Union carpenters preferred, though all qualified candidates will be considered.
Scope of Work:
* Layout and demolition of a drywall partition
* Modification and framing of metal stud walls
* Construction of a new service window opening
* Installation of backing and blocking for counter installation
* Installation of wood trim
* General finish carpentry
Project Details:
* Work is in an occupied office environment
* Most work will likely be performed during evening and weekend hours
* Contractor provides labor and tools
* Materials supplied by General Contractor
Qualifications:
* Experience with commercial metal stud framing and drywall
* Finish carpentry experience
* Ability to work independently and maintain professional appearance in a municipal setting
* OSHA certification a plus
* Ability to pass any required background screening
