Position Summary
The Warehouse Cleaning / Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. This role performs general cleaning duties across warehouse, office, restroom, and break areas while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, office areas, and warehouse spaces
• Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash throughout designated work areas
• Ensure walkways and common areas remain clean, safe, and unobstructed
• Clean totes, containers, and other warehouse items as required
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
• Operate janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies safely and effectively
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and cleaning protocols
• Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical safety documentation (SDS sheets)
• Complete other janitorial duties as assigned

Shipping / Receiving & General Warehouse Responsibilities
• Receive, stock, pull, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently
• Support day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory handling and order fulfillment
• Maintain accurate documentation, shipment records, and data entry logs
• Monitor product quality, defects, waste, and delivery issues and report findings to leadership
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality systems (where applicable), safety, and environmental requirements
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order processing
• Assist in maintaining organized warehouse operations and inventory accuracy

Required Skills & Qualifications
• General knowledge or familiarity with cleaning and janitorial best practices
• Ability to prioritize work and operate independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Good communication skills
• Dependable, honest, and strong work ethic
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and chemical safety documents (English preferred)
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs (approximately 49 lbs for warehouse tasks)
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent walking throughout warehouse and facility areas
• Push and pull cleaning supplies, carts, and equipment
• Repetitive motions including bending, reaching, twisting, gripping, and use of hands/feet (including foot pedals where applicable)
• Work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and activity levels
