What sets exceptional coaches apart from good coaches is their aptitude for adapting workouts based on real-time feedback from their clients. The factors of intensity, such as movement speed, volume, and weight, wield significant influence over the risk-to-reward ratio of a workout. Teaching a coach with limited experience how to perform a hex bar deadlift can be accomplished relatively quickly, enabling them to proficiently guide their clients using cues. However, the ability to make strategic adjustments is the linchpin for determining whether progress flourishes or stalls. These adjustments may encompass the complete elimination of an exercise, reducing the weight, moderating the speed, decreasing the volume, or, in certain instances, introducing more weight than originally planned. Progression in fitness is often characterized by a non-linear trajectory, and it is the exceptional coaches who possess the acumen to make these pivotal adjustments.
I have trained many people to double their strength in less than a year. They become twice as strong as before they started working with me. Many people who work with me for over a year and a half triple their strength. It would take three of themselves to equal what they are now. In some rare cases, I have quadrupled, and even quintupled peoples’ strength. It’s rare, but almost everyone on the planet can double their strength, and a large percentage can triple their strength. A few with good genetics can quadruple their strength, and a few elite people may quintuple. Imagine being twice as strong in six months. Anyone can do this. You want a general strength training program to make your skeletal muscles as strong as humanly possible. I use modalities to do that, using the safest methods possible.
