Looking for 1+b or 2b in Cambridge near MIT for couple 9/1 (Cambridge)

Good morning!
My partner and I are looking for a 1+bed or 2 bed unit to move into starting this Sept 1.
We are two MIT Graduate students in engineering(stable income), midwestern-respectful of things and belongings, volunteer our time with the community, have excellent credit scores, have no pets nor car and can provide landlord and personal references.
We are looking for a place to call home long term (at least 3 years) starting Sept 1, and have a negotiable budget of 2500/mo. As we work at MIT, we are hoping to find a unit near there in Cambridge.
I thought to reach out on craigslist in hopes to connect with a landlord!
