The main saw in this package is a Stihl MS362C with a long bar. This is the centerpiece of the lot and the main reason for the asking price. It is barely used and in much better condition than the second saw. The MS362 is a pro-grade Stihl saw, known for being a serious work saw for firewood, cutting larger material, and general heavy-duty property use. It is not a lightweight homeowner toy. It is the kind of saw people specifically look for when they want real cutting power and a durable, professional-level machine.
The second saw is a Stihl 025 with a short bar. I want to be completely upfront about this one so there is no confusion and no wasted time. It is beat up cosmetically and is sometimes hard to start. I am not advertising it like it is mint or perfect. I am including it honestly as an older secondary saw, backup saw, lighter saw, or project saw for someone who knows these older Stihls and sees the value in having another one around. Once running, it can still be useful, but I am pricing the package based mainly around the barely used MS362C, with the 025 and all of the extras adding real additional value.
For anyone who cares about the saws themselves, the MS362 is widely known as a professional-class chainsaw with around 3.6 cubic inches displacement, 4.8 horsepower, and about 12.3 pounds dry weight, which is why it has such a strong reputation for serious work. The Stihl 025 is an older, lighter saw in the roughly 44.3cc / 2.7 cubic inch / 3.0 horsepower class, commonly used with bars in the 12-inch to 16-inch range, and has long been a popular smaller Stihl saw. If you know chainsaws, you know the 362 is the star here and the 025 is a useful second machine to have around even in rougher condition.
