Similar worm teas are available at retail locations or online platforms and can cost up to $30/quart. What the big box brands don't mention is that all of the beneficial microbes and microorganisms begin to significantly die off within the first 48 to 72 hours once the tea is cut off from a source of oxygen. For this reason, the tea is not bottled until you are en route for pick-up in order to maintain maximum freshness. The worm tea can come filtered or unfiltered. The unfiltered version has the worm castings used to brew your tea inside and is the most commonly used version. It’s applied as a root drench just like regular watering. The filtered version has the worm castings removed (and given to you in a separate small container if requested) and is best used for foliar spray application and hydroponic grows.

All worm castings used in the worm tea are 100% organic and sourced from my own red wiggler worm farm that has been maintained and fed using my home's kitchen scraps thereby avoiding landfills for 9 years. For all of you tomato, pepper, strawberry, and "other" plant growers, I have used many of the name brands out there like Advanced Nutrients, Miracle-Grow, Roots Organic, and Fox Farm among others in soil and garden grows. All yielded quality results to varying degrees, but none came close to the results since using worm castings and applying the worm compost tea on a regular basis. The most dramatic differences were seen with much more robust vegetative phase growth, increased flower production with deeper/more vibrant colors, far less pest/mildew problems, water retention during periods of little or no rain, and ESPECIALLY TASTE.

An added bonus is that it acts as a natural pest repellant within and outside of the plant. Both at the root level, within the stem, and on the fruit/flower/vegetable when applied as a foliar spray.

Prices:
$7.99 for 1 gallon
$19.99 for 3 gallons

When ordering, please indicate how many gallons you would like as well as which version (unfiltered/filtered). In addition, please indicate the approximate time and day you would be interested in for pickup in Milton.

1st and 2nd photos from a past batch. In the second photo, the "foam" that you see is actually an especially high concentration of good microbes and microorganisms that benefit your soil and grows.

3rd and 4th photos are a side-by-side comparison of one set of kohlrabi plants with the use of worm castings/tea and one without.

Final photo are the Red Wiggler worms doing their thing on my worm farm. You can also see what my worm castings ready for harvest looks like in the background.

Believe me, as someone who has enjoyed gardening and plants for most of my life, this is the best stuff you can give your plants.

Happy Growing!
