The base/legs are solid wood (rosewood) with slightly curved elegant back support. Small caliber footprint with modern and sleek design. These chairs fit with the minimalistic post-modern and contemporary style - but because of the slightly unusual feminine curves, they provide that touch of vintage luxury that cannot be found in current high end show rooms - they will help create a layered look to your modern home. The stock photos were provided by plank offices and show this chair in its basic wood (without leather) variation - this padded leather seat in rosewood finish is the more lux variation that I think brings out the beauty of these chairs even more. They remind me of the more elegant version of the solid wood Thos Moser pieces, such as the harpswell chair retailing for $2.3K in leather.
