We are selling our Ligne Roset Zanzibar square ottoman/coffee table upholstered in woven dark chocolate brown full grain leather on a wooden frame. The piece was designed by Jacques Ducru for Ligne Roset and was made in France. This item came in several shapes, ours is square in the largest size (31" x 31" x 14.5").

An all-around accessory, the Zanzibar ottoman, thanks to its sophisticated construction and practicality, is confidently at home in any room in the house, from the living room to the bedroom. It is a ‘square cube’ with rounded edges and a solid wood structure, padded with polyurethane and Dacron and upholstered in woven rich chocolate brown cowhide on a wood plinth base. Protective gliders on feet.

Seat height 14.5" (37 cm) - easy to carry out as not too heavy just bulky for 1 person (I would estimate it at about 40 lbs).


It is in excellent condition with no faults to mention. It is also extremely hard wearing as all full grain leather is supposed to achieve a slightly varied patina. You can also use it as a coffee table, as it adds a wonderful textured dimension thanks to the woven leather (reminiscent of Bottega Veneta weaving) and couples beautifully with other shapes/colors. This piece comes from a pet-free, smoke-free, smell-free, clean and renovated home. We are selling it because we need something a little larger for the size of the room it was intended for. The photos next to the light gray couch sectional are of the actual piece for sale, other photos show the smaller version from LR catalogues as well as the stock photos of the ottoman in this same size. The piece has an inspection sticker on the bottom. Chocolate brown is not only a classic neutral, but is also THE COLOR of the moment currently!
