Huge lot of sterling silver watches. My dad gave these to me to save for a rainy day. I have tuition payments to make...
There are a few of these that have leather bands. I weighed one full length and it is 5g with the clasp. Some clasps are silver, some are not. Some of the bands are not full length so lighter. 10 with bands, so estimate the leather band weight is ~50g.
These have stainless steel case backs and movements and stem/crown. I weighed a midsize crystal at .7g. I weighed a midsize caseback movement and crown/stem and got ~3.8g, There are 31 watches so estimate this weight is around 140g.
So, I estimate total weight of 1435 is offset by ~190g. Stamped .925 but I have seen these tested above that number. Selling these as untested watches. Most should work with new battery but some may need parts/repair. You also get an Ecclissi jewelry box ($100 value).
I set the price with silver at ~$81/oz, which is ~$2.40/g for sterling. If silver price is up or down we can adjust the price accordingly. For example, if it goes up to $89/oz, that's up 10%, if it goes down to $80 that's down a little over 1%, etc.
