East End Watertown restaurant poised to open in a mere few weeks seeks a sous chef with cajones (literal or figurative... women highly encouraged.) Country Mile will be making a name for itself over the coming months, and I need a TRUE cook to to make it happen with me. Small (34 seats), highly creative, a dynamite custom vibe, 8 taps of local craft beer, a solid natural wine program, a classic cocktail program, and a menu that changes constantly driven by any and all local, cool product we can get our hands on... All of this only partially describes the trip we're about to embark upon.
This truly is the opportunity for a person with drive and passion to shine. A place for the right sous chef to be noticed and show their stuff. Think you're up for it? If you are I sure would like to talk to you. There are a lot of opportunities out there for competent cooks... I'm fully aware of this fact... but Country Mile will be a different kind of gig.
