Posto, a modern interpretation of a classic Italian pizzeria, enoteca and trattoria in the heart of Davis Square, specializes in wood fired Neapolitan style pizza but there's plenty more to be had if you're not in the mood for a pie. The restaurant's seasonal menu highlights the simplicity of Italian cuisine with handmade pastas, farm stand produce, local meats and fish, all complemented by inspired cocktails and an extensive wine-by-the-glass list. Both the beer and cocktail programs evolve with the seasons featuring both classic and creative selections.
We are open 7 days a week for dinner service only. Shifts begin between 3-3:30 pm.
Ideal Bartender candidates should possess the following qualities:
-An extensive background in preparing classic cocktails with a focus on proper technique
-An extensive understanding of wine, beer and spirits
-A passion for learning about new products ranging from beer, wine and spirits
-Ability to engage and develop a rapport with guests while staying focused on the task at hand of producing and building consistent cocktails
-A contagious passion for the hospitality industry
-A dedication towards contributing towards the success of the restaurant and its beverage program
-Creativity, personality and charisma
-Convey a sense of sincerity, enthusiasm and, most importantly, a sense of hospitality to all guests and co-workers
