We are looking for several hospitality minded staff to assist with the multiple positions for a very large conference/expo in Boston, MA June 8th-13th.
We have many positions and schedules available for this event. Mostly Registration, Session monitors and directional staff for the conference and evening events. There are numerous positions and times that will be discussed over the phone during an interview or provided via email. Below are sample times but not concrete to each available position. Flexibility in scheduling in a plus and open availability is preferred.
Registration Team-You will assist with checking in attendees and getting them their materials. A polished appearance and professional attitude is needed. You must also be proficient on a computer.
6/8 9a-5p. bag stuffing, show prep
Room monitors - You will assist with scanning badges and making sure only registered people enter the meeting room. You must be able to stand for periods of time as needed.
6/12 8a-11a 4 hour minimum
Directional- Friendly and outgoing demeanor required. Must be assertive yet friendly while assisting attendees with line placement and expediting their line experience to register for the conference. Requires periods of standing and walking.
All positions and schedules will be discussed and assigned during a telephone interview. We do have many various positions and shift times available. Open availability is preferred.
Rate of pay is $14 per hour for all shifts. Paid breaks are included. We are an employer/employee w2 relationship. We CANNOT do 1099, you must be a US citizen or have the proper paperwork to work in the United States.
All staff will be required to wear black slacks and a white polo or button down shirt. Closed toed dress shoes and matching belt for men. No visible piercings or tattoos are permitted. Please do not have loud artificially colored hair.
