For CD playback, it was actually quite respectable with audiophile type specs.
All buttons , lights, dials work perfectly. This also serves well as a high quality music cd player. Onkyo used the best DAC chips and transport mechanisms to assure no-skip playing of all discs. Original Onkyo Remote is included.

Sound Quality
For a carousel changer, the DX-C140 has a reputation for sounding surprisingly good.
