Very rare Realistic Optimus 10 Brilliance Contour Loud Speaker System in great condition. Refoaming may be desired as pictured. Comes with removable Speaker Grille Cover with Name Plate of Realistic shoes on bottom right. Manufactured in the 1970s by the now defunct Radio Shack.
They feature a 3.25" tweeter, an 8" woofer with a 1 pound magnet, and a 10" passive radiator. It could handle 75 watts RMS with a frequency response of 42-20K, +/- 3dB.
You get a pair of large display speakers encased in a beautiful wooden enclosure which include a a BRILLIANCE control to match the levels at the two ends of the spectrum. A 10" passive radiator is rated to extend the bass down to 45 Hz. Both screw terminals and an RCA phono jack are provided to make connection to the system on the rare control panel.
