This is a classic pair of Minnesota made 70's era DLK speakers. All drivers are original and sound amazing. Woofers have great foam.
Gorgeous, substantial sealed Walnut cabinets 39.5 lbs. each. Grills are nice.
These DLK 1 1/2s cover a lot of ground delivering smooth, articulate sound - not colored or shouty.
They achieve a well-imaged, stable sound stage without needing perfect speaker placement.
Amazingly clear, tight and fast bass without being overpowering.
Exceptionally good midrange with lots of punch.
Clear highs without being ‘bright’.
Feed these from a quality receiver and they really sing.
2-way design with a phenolic-ring 2” tweeter and two 8” butyl surround paper cone woofers. Second-order crossovers. Cabinet is sealed and made of beautiful 3/4” walnut veneer.
Made in Minneapolis during the hey-day of stereo speaker design and build. Many considered the DLK 1 1/2s one of the best of that era.
24.5” tall, 12” deep,14.5” wide.
These are really good looking speakers with exceptional sound for their size.
