Lafayette was a big audio manufacturer in the 50's, 60's , and 70's. They were similar to Realistic. They made high quality products in Japan. This is a classic 70's era pair of speakers. This is the "A" version, better than the earlier generations of 2002... with improved crossover. These are three way , with two tweeters and a high frequency horn. These are front adjustable with working variable output potentiates.
Ideal for high volume man cave or garage deployment. These are 3-Way with 10" woofers. All drivers are original. Tested and fully functional. Cabinets are nice, with no scratches or rips. One of the logo badges is chipped .. so it just says "Crit" . Woofer foams in good condition. Nice big cabinets resonate bass deeply. These speakers are capable of playing clear and loud, and they are efficient, milking every watt from your amp. They are ideal for lower power tube amps, as they do not need big power to shine. They have adjustable mid and treble front dials. These sound amazing, and look beautiful, with that vintage vibe. The horn midrange gives amazing presence to vocals and guitars. These are as beautiful sounding as they are looking. Dimensions are 25 x 14 x 14 inches. A lot of clear volume, deep bass,. and overall excellent fidelity for $100
