This is a fully functional, perfectly working, and great sounding classic vintage Scott SMP-30 turntable. This is in excellent cosmetic shape. The cover is working, and it stays up when placed there. Good hinges. This has one crack on the dust cover as shown in the pictures. I put a new belt and a virgin new $45 Audio Technica AT3600 needle on this. Speed is perfect. Speed is adjustable with warm red glowing strobe indicator window on front. This is semi automatic, with all functions working, cue, cut, auto return.. all perfect. This turntable outputs phono level signal only, so you will need a receiver with phono inputs. or you can get a $20 phono booster preamp like the Pyle PP999 on Amazon. This preamp will allow you to use this table with any receiver's input.. like CD or AUX. This was quality made in Korea in the 80's.
