This unit is running and sounding perfectly. This has no issues. I did some service on this. I cleaned it out. I used de-oxit to spray clean all the dials for smooth static-free operation. All knobs and inputs are tested and work perfectly. The radio tuner works flawlessly ,.. and the FM stereo light works. Phono input is great sounding.
The original dim incandescent lamps were replaced them with glowing warm-bright LED lamps. This shines beautifully, with bright blue FM dial. Other than the LED upgrade ,.. this is all original, not modified. I have seen these vintage Marantz receivers ruined with bad recap jobs with cheap Chinese capacitors. This is perfect to it's original quality Japan spec design and original components.
Crafted in Japan during the Silver Face 70's era . An audio masterpiece. Cosmetically gorgeous. No dents or scratches. Internally excellent as well. Better than the majority of the Marantz out here. This is an amazing unit that sounds as beautiful as it looks.
