This is a nice pair of fully functional and great sounding classic USA built Model Six speakers. Made in Cambridge Mass. These are the more desirable later period , early 70's models,.. with the recessed rear terminal plate. Considered by many KLH enthusiasts to be local audio legend Henry Kloss' best design. The cabinets and grills are in nice condition per pictures. All original drivers and crossovers work perfectly without any issues. The grill cloth is excellent,.. bright white,.. not yellowed. Cabinets have a little bit of flower potting on top,.. but not horrible. Both badges are intact.
The KLH Model 6 specs are based on its 1959 2-way design, featuring an 10-inch woofer and a 4-inch tweeter, with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. It has a frequency response of approximately 35Hz to 20kHz, and a sensitivity of around 91dB SPL. A unique feature is the 3-position switch on the back for high-frequency response adjustment.
