This is the Wave Music System III . The radio works, but like most of these Bose wave systems out there, the cd has stopped functioning. I tried to pull the cd player out and clean the lens, but this did not fix it.., so I am selling this without CD player functionality.
This also includes the additional Soundtouch pedestal. The pedestal allows you to use this to stream music wirelessly with your wifi. Streaming this way is significantly better sounding than bluetooth. Bluetooth is a lossy technology that compromises your sound. It's convenient, but it does not give you the full , uncompressed quality that you get from streaming via wifi. There are videos on Youtube that help you network this with your home wifi system.
A non original, fully functional remote is included. The battery is new in this remote. Powwr cable is included. This is in excellent cosmetic condition.
This will receive stations with it's internal antenna,.. but it works better with an external antenna. No external antenna is include, however , these can be bought on Amazon for $10.
