I am seeking a law student or else a civic-minded person to assist with some paralegal work. Here are some of the duties involved:
1. drafting and typing legal documents using Word (use of AI is find - like ChatGPT)
2. scanning documents, invoices, bills, court papers - must have independent access to Scanner
3. Serving process on defendants - basically delivering the Complaint and Summons to a defendant (all defendants in Boston area)
4. filing pleadings and other court documents in the Courthouse
This is a very flexible schedule. You can work on your own hours, and most of the work can be completed at home or your school.
No experience is necessary. I will provide on-the-job training.
