I offer service to help diagnose and repair problems for your computer, TV and other electronics. The most common problems I encounter are hardware problems, such as laptop CPU fans needing replacement, power cable connections, circuit board aging and hard drive failures. Others are software problems: virus, spammer, or operating systems slowing down, etc. For these problems, I have extensive experience and can save you time and money from costly repairs down the road. My business is unique in the sense that I operate from my own home, face-to-face and I offer personal guarantee: no fix, no payment.

1. Free consultation. Just bring your computer or any electronics over, including PC/Mac, laptop, desktop, xbox, printers, routers, TV, phones, tablets, etc. I will take a look at it and tell you what I think the problem might be. Correctly identifying the issue is central to any repair services. My insights to these problems come from years of experience and it is usually quick and effective. Most of the time I can simply give you instructions to buy parts and fix the problem yourself. There is no cost for the consultation, although you might need to schedule your time with me because I might be busy.
2. Service fees. This varies a little depending on the problem. But I like to keep it simple. There is a maximum fee of $50 on most software and simple hardware issues. When you come and do the consultation, I will give you a cost estimate, depending on how much time I think I would need to fix the problem for you. For some particularly hard/time-consuming problems, such as hard drive failures and data recovery, circuit board repairs, or needing particular components that need to be ordered. The cost will be more than $50, but generally less than $100. I cannot reasonably cover for large/expensive parts, but I will tell you how much it will be ahead of time. I always let my customer decide if they order the parts and bring those to me, or just let me order them.
3. Guarantee. I take pride in my work and I have many long-term customers/friends who trust me. Therefore I offer a personal guarantee that if I cannot fix the problem for you to your satisfaction, you don't have to pay for my service. I also offer long-term peace of mind -- if the problems reoccur, just bring the computer/electronics back to me and I fix them again for free. It is totally okay.
Why am I doing this? In addition to making a living, I believe we should all make an effort to help repair/recycle things before just dumping them to garbage and landfills.
