IT and Electronics services. I have been working in IT since 2014, and independent since 2018. My strengths are that I provide the customer with full documentation so that they remain in control of their network and can be vendor agnostic (i.e. not locked into my services). Additionally, I also work with electronics and can consult with regards to PCB assembly, product design, repair, and testing. I have been a hobbyist EE since 2013.

Surveillance systems: I have built up to 40 camera systems. Mobile phone access. Future proof: No vendor lock-in. ONVIF support. Email alerts. Further accessories, such as motion detectors and sensors can be added. I have built weatherproof portable systems, that can be connected to via cellphone internet, and can be brought to record for short term (e.g. weeks or months) on job sites.
Electronics Design & Repair: I have experience with Atmega, Attiny, PIC, LED drivers, Xilinx, Beaglebone, Raspberry Pi, PCB layout, assembly (THT, SMD), mechanical design, and overall have a competent base in electronics and design. Repairing items is done more for fun, rather than for profit, but I am available, if someone has something they would like possibly fixed.
Mechanical Design: 3D printing with FreeCAD and a Prusa i3 MK3. I have a printables profile, where you can view some of my work. I also do some amateur metalwork for fun.
I'm located 10 miles north of Boston. For more details see steakelectronics dot com.
