Research Study for People with HIV to Quit Smoking with App Support (Boston)

compensation: $175
Are you HIV+ and want to quit smoking? Interested in using an app to help you quit?

You may be eligible to participate in this research study if you: are 18 years or older, are HIV positive, are engaged in HIV clinical care, have an iPhone or Android smartphone, and have smoked at least 5 packs over your lifetime.

Study participation would entail: making an attempt to quit smoking while using our support materials for eight weeks, completing surveys online, completing 1-2 face-to-face visits with our study staff (~one – two hours min. each), completing biochemical tests to assess your smoking (breath, saliva).

We will compensate you for your time (up to $175). Study can be completed remotely.
