I couldn't find as much information about the Tyndale and Frederick Cooper lamp companies as I normally like to have before posting. I did find two other versions of this lamp, both of which said "Tyndale Chicago", but neither had a shade. Mine has the shade, the finial, and the lettering "F. Cooper" in the metal shade holder. Cooper was a designer and lampmaker from before the Depression.
So I don't know for a fact whether this is a Tyndale lamp with an F. Cooper shade, or an F. Cooper lamp sold by Tyndale Chicago, or what. It's late 20th century, given its contemporary subject and style.
The lamp is:
• 30” from base to finial
• the shade diameter goes from 7"-17"
• the enamel column has a 5" diameter
• the base is 6x6"
The lamp is in gorgeous condition, and solid as a rock. Even so, this is "pick-up" only (or a meeting place of mutual agreement) to ensure that it stays so.
