This is a rare find - a Russian black lacquer box clock
It was a limited addition. Made to commemorate 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow
The clock is done in the tradition of Russian Art - “Palekh”
The clock measures 9 3/4" long, 6 1/4" tall and 2 3/4" deep.
It features a sailing scene on the right, with the Olympic Sign
The clock itself is in overall good condition with a few small nicks around the edges.
Needs some work – restoration.
Great for home décor.
