this collector's edition is bound in beautiful calf, & gilt stamped - front, back, & ridged spine. It has rich moire' satin endpapers, a satin ribbon bookmark, sewn into the binding, & the book is archival quality, acid-neutral paper, with gilt edges.
Handsome, classic, double volume; "The Cherry Orchard" [1901] & "Three Sisters" [1904], by Anton Chekhov - illustrated by Lajos Szaley. This is the 1977 limited edition, sold by subscription only.
